Minister John Moore

I am the second oldest child born to John P. and Fannie Mai Moore. I have four siblings; Anne, Margaret, Ruby, and Jodie.  Born in Nashville, Tennessee at Meharry- Hubbard Hospital in Davidson County and educated in the Metropolitan Nashville School System, a graduate of Pearl High School June 1, 1971. Matriculated to Fisk University in 1971 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree May 15, 1978. In 1975 I was selected by the Washington Redskins Football Club and also spent time with the Miami Dolphins Football Club in 1976. I did management work in the private and public sector and work brought me to Atlanta, Georgia on Memorial Day 1998 having transferred from working at Tennessee State University's Bookstore as the Textbook Manager to the Georgia State University Bookstore as the Operations Manager. God, at that time, began to reveal Himself to me. After 5 years of trying to prove to myself that I was in control of myself (the devils lie) on April 13, 2003 The Lord moved on my heart in the form of a personal failure and made known to me that I would never be the person I was searching for apart from Him. It was then I begged the Lord to come into my life and save me. He did and I have been living for Him every since. I was married to the love of my life, Ethel Yarbrough, on September 21, 2003. On January 28, 2007 I was ordained as a Deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church in College Park, Georgia and on January 20, 2008 I was licensed to preach at Shiloh. November 23, 2014 I was ordained as a minister at Servants of Christ  Church in Union City, Georgia. John T. Moore Ministries was established in December 2012.

Isaiah 40:28ff.  Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.
