World Missions Church

The HBCU Project is a faith based grass roots movement, that connects with students of Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) all across America. We aim to help them share the love of God by providing historical, theological, philosophical, and scientific evidences to follow Jesus Christ.

We intend to plant 100 churches in 100 cities across America within the next 3 years.  Some may say, "Isn't that rather ambitious?  100 churches in 3 years?"   Yes...It is ambitious.  In 2012, I founded the organization called, The HBCU Nation.  It's goal is to provide capacity-building initiatives that help strengthen our nation's now 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities by promoting HBCU Excellence, HBCU Innovation and HBCU Sustainability.  The ministry component of The HBCU Nation is called The HBCU Project.  Realizing that most college students typically stop attending church during their college days, and at times may be faced with questions concerning their faith; through The HBCU Project, a Missional-focused ministry, we intend to plant a church in every city across the country, reaching the 300,000 students and the communities that surround them that attend these very important and valuable institutions. Most of which were started in churches dating back over 150 years ago !  The African American faith community figures promiently in American society and culture. HBCUs produce 25% of all African American college graduates. Future preachers, teachers, entrepreurs, doctors, lawyers, scientists, social workers, military officers, people who will become productive law abiding citizens that will contribute, and have contributed, much to this great nation in all fields of human endeavor !
